Shipping Large Items

Shipping our products has changed dramatically over the past 5 years. When we started we could ship large items for $300 - $400. That number has basically doubled to $600-$800 in the last few years. We historically have subsidized the overage costs some but has become unsustainable.

We try everything we can to minimize impact to our customers but the pool of shippers to ship a 12 + foot item is small. We can't just call up UPS for that size of item.

Location plays a large factor. We ship out of Iowa so coasts are harder to reach while midwest has more options.
